OUELLETTE -- Roger R. Ouellette, 64, of Great Falls, MT, died on Friday, June 16, 2006 at Benefis Hospital due to complications from lung cancer. His Funeral Mass will be held at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel, Malmstrom AFB, on Thursday, June 22, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. He was born in Lewiston, ME on June 1, 1942, son of Roland and Irene (Bouffard) Ouellette. He was educated in Lewiston public schools and completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Vocational Educational Studies and a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Services in 1989 and 1991 respectively. He entered the U.S. Air Force in May 1961 at Lackland AFB, TX and served over 22 years honorably and decorated at a variety of locations around the world to include Vietnam, Japan, Korea, Belgium, and England in the ground radio and communications field culminating as a communications non-commissioned officer in charge upon his retirement in 1983 as a Master Sergeant. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe parish at Malmstrom Air Force Base. He enjoyed officiating for softball and baseball and tinkering with computers. Roger is survived by his wife of Great Falls, the former Marcia J. Bleskin, whom he married on September 26, 1964; three sons and daughters-in-law, James and Allison Ouellette of Spokane, WA, Roger Jr. and Cindie Ouellette of Shreveport, LA, and Greg and Kristi Ouellette of Norfolk, VA; seven grandchildren, Morgan, Sarah, Renee, Drew, Emily, Ryan, and Bailey; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie and Jack of Yarmouth, ME, Claudette and Loring of Deer Isle, ME; and his brothers and sisters-in-law, Conrad and Carol of Greeley, CO, Mickey and Carol of Billerica, MA, and Ronnie and Val of Lewiston, ME; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society, 550 No. 31st St. #103, Billings, MT 59101.
