LARKIN -- GEN Mary Genevieve Larkin died peacefully at home in Palm Desert, CA on June 14, 2006. She was born to Jeremiah and Jane McCarthy September 29, 1921 in Providence, RI. She graduated with a business degree from Bryant College. On May 5, 1945, she married Harold V. Larkin in Providence. After living in Albuquerque, NM for forty-five years, Gen and Hal moved to Palm Desert. Gen is survived by three children: daughter, Jane Larkin and husband, Nick De Lipski of Vancouver, WA, daughter, Mary of California, and son, Peter and wife, Mary of Albuquerque. She is also survived by her sister, Marion Rooney and husband, Bill of Naragansit, RI. Gen's husband, Hal, preceded her in death on March 29, 2001. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, June 24, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Burial will be at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM.
