GILL -- Herbert Gill, 81, a resident of Albuquerque passed from this life on Tuesday, June 20, 2006. He was born and raised in eastern Oklahoma. Gill was a decorated WWII Army veteran. He owned and operated Cimarron Trucking Co. until his retirement in 1986. Gill was an avid pilot and flew at every opportunity. Gill married Alberta Mae Hicks in Poteau, OK in 1948; she survives him. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. Visitation will be Friday, June 23, 2006, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Graveside Services will be Saturday, June 24, 2006, 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite children's hospital.
