PFAFF -- BARBARA ELAINE On March 25, 2006, Barbara Elaine Pfaff died after a lengthy battle with cancer. Barbara was born to Daniel (deceased) and Charlotte Pfaff in Los Alamos on July 25, 1944. After she graduated from Los Alamos High School, she moved to Albuquerque to receive her BA in Art History. She then left New Mexico, returning in 1984 with her daughter, Danielle, to complete her MA and Masters of Fine Arts at UNM. Barbara was a dedicated sculptor and artist. She had shows in New York, Los Angeles, and Dallas, as well as many here in Albuquerque. In August of this year, she would have celebrated her 27th anniversary in A.A. Barbara was an active member in Albuquerque Zen Center, High Desert Yoga, and PLTC support group. She is survived by her daughter Danielle and grandson Benjamin James, born to Danielle and Darrell Ramsey on May 22, 2006. She is also survived by her mother, Charlotte Pfaff; brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard and Jan Pfaff, Norman and Janice Pfaff; as well as many, many friends. Danielle and Darrell would like to extend their gratitude to all relatives and friends who have been so supportive during this difficult time. A Service in celebration on her life will be on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at the Shepherd of the Valley Presbyterian Church, 1801 Montano NW (505) 344-9798.
