BERRENBERG -- Virginia Berrenberg has completed life's struggles here on earth and has left to be with her Creator and Lord, as well as with all of her loved ones who have already departed. She died at age 88 in the early morning of May 31, 2006. Virginia Rogers was born in Atlantic City, NJ on October 21, 1916. In her teens, her family moved to California where she attended Hollywood High School. She married Jack Berrenberg in 1939 in Taos, NM. Except for a short period during WWII, she resided in Taos from 1939 until 2002 when she moved to Las Colinas Village retirement home in Albuquerque. She worked for many years as a secretary at the Taos Pueblo Medical Clinic and later at Centinel Bank of Taos and was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Taos. Virginia is survived by her three children: Ree Christensen of Oakridge, OR; Lance Berrenberg of Albuquerque, NM; and Joy Berrenberg of Littleton, CO. Virginia was a loving and dedicated mother to her children. She enjoyed visiting her children, gardening, baking, scenic drives throughout New Mexico and Colorado, and she especially liked celebrating the Christmas Holidays. Memorial Services will be held at St. Stephen's United Methodist Church, 4601 Juan Tabo, NE, Albuquerque, NM on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at 11 a.m.
