SANCHEZ -- Isidro (Isaac) Sanchez, born December 8, 1965, passed away Saturday at the age of 40. Isaac was preceded in death by his father, Nep Sanchez. Isaac or "The Ice Man" is survived by his Mother, Helen Sanchez; daughters, Cathleen Sanchez, Jillian Sanchez and Faye Maldonado; fiancee, Crystal Sanchez; brothers, Nep Sanchez Jr. and wife, Della, Raymond Sanchez and wife, Cathy; former wife and mother of his children, Irene Sanchez; grandfather, Quirino Lucero; and many loving family members and friends. Isaac was an employee of the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy for 11 years where he made many friendships with his co-workers and people whom he did service for. Isaac enjoyed playing fast pitch softball with the Albuquerque Bulls, horseshoes, watching the Denver Broncos, NASCAR Racing, and riding his Harley Davidson with his fiancee Crystal. Isaac was very proud of his three daughters Cathleen, Jillian and Faye, whom he loved very dearly. He enjoyed spending his time with his daughters who made him laugh and brought him great happiness. Isaac was a great guy who will be missed dearly by his family and friends. Pallbearers will be Joey Baca, Pat Chavez, Alex Gonzales, Hiram Mariano, Max Jaramillo, and Ernest Zamora. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Jaramillo, Robert Jaramillo, Dennis Marquez, Morris Vaisa, Ernest Ruiz Jr., Bobby Gow, and Adam Flores. Visitation for Isaac will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2006 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Church of the Ascension. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, June 2, 2006 also at the Church of the Ascension where the Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Los Padillas Cemetery.
