MILLER -- Arnold M. Miller, 89, a resident of Albuquerque for 14 years, made his transition on April 25, 2006. Arnold was born May 22, 1916 near Gilman, IL to James and Ema Miller and grew up in Decatur, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Ross; and his beloved wife, of 41 years, Dorothy Marie Cross Miller. Arnold is survived by his son, Steve and wife, Vicki; his granddaughter, Stephanie Davis and her husband, John, all of Albuquerque; and his granddaughter, Sheryl Hennelly and husband, Kevin of Ft. Wayne, IN. Arnold enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1942 and flew 29 missions over Occupied Europe and Germany as a B-17 waist gunner in the 385th Bomb Group of the 8th Air Force. After the war, he worked as a Dept. of the Army civilian in Decatur, IL and at Ft. Huachuca, AZ, retiring there in 1975 as the Post Fire Inspector. He and Dorothy resided in Sun City, AZ. until her passing in 1984. He moved to Albuquerque in 1992 to be near his family. He was a member of the Bear Canyon Fishing Club here. Cremation has taken place and interment will be in the Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. No memorial service will be held per his request.
