LOPEZ -- Gilbert Juan, 59, born in Las Vegas, NM on October 1, 1946, the son of Pablo and Emelia Lopez, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away Wednesday April 26, 2006. He went home to be with our Lord and late wife of 33 years, Angela Lopez. Gilbert is survived by his son, Paul and wife, Monica of Albuquerque; son, James and wife, Kelly of Colorado; and three beautiful grandchildren, Diego, Dominic, and Sammy; brother, Ernie; mother-in-law, Frieda Rael; and several loving family members too many to name. Gilbert was a Vietnam Vet and worked for the City of Albuquerque as the Los Altos Golf Course Superintendent for 25 years. He enjoyed camping and fishing with his family at Conchas and Vallecito Lakes. Funeral Services will be held Sunday April 30, 2006, 7:00 p.m., at St. Therese Catholic Church, with a 10:00 a.m. Mass on Monday followed by the burial at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. French Mortuary, Inc. 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE 275-3500
