MARQUEZ -- Elisario A. Marquez, 89 years of age, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2006, at his home in the South Valley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Epifania; three grandsons, Paul Gonzales, Willie Sanchez Jr., and Tony Marquez Jr.; and one great-grandson, Romeo Marquez. Elisario is survived by his five daughters, Isabel Gonzales, Josephine Sanchez and husband, Willie, Ramona Gutierrez, Mary Lou Marquez, and Gloria Martinez; five sons, Tony and wife, Gloria, Gene and wife, Michelle, Manuel, Joe and wife, Rebecca, Julian and wife, Angela; one brother, Juan Marquez; 38 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at San Jose Catholic Parish, 2401 Broadway Blvd. SE, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2006. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 27, 2006, with burial following at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST.
