CARRILLO -- Frances J. Gabaldon Carrillo, 67, a resident of Albuquerque since 1960, died Sunday, March 19, 2006. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Fidelino Carrillo; two daughters, Julie Carrillo and Beverly Rokisky; granddaughter, Chastity Rokisky; grandson, David Rokisky II; sisters, Felice Montoya and husband, Joe, Theresa Montoya and husband, Leroy, and Betty Gallegos and husband, Tilo; brothers, Delfin Gabaldon and wife, Beatrice, Felix Gabaldon and wife, Erma, and Simon Gabaldon and wife, Candy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Ignacio and Matilda Baca Gabaldon. She was born in Belen, NM on March 13, 1939. Frances attended and graduated from Belen High School. She worked as an educational assistant in special education at Montezuma Elementary School for several years and also as a second grade CCD teacher for twenty years at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic School. Frances was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. She loved her family foremost in her life. Frances was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. Wednesday, March 22, 2006 from 5:00 p.m. to the Rosary following at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, March 23, 2006, 10:00 am, at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas at Tennessee NE, with burial following at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE.
