BARILLARO -- Angelina Marcantonio Barillaro, 91, a resident of Albuquerque for five years, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at the Valle Norte Caring Center in Albuquerque, NM. Angelina was one of eleven children and is survived by two sisters, Anne Michonski and Mary Soriano. She is also survived by her daughter, Carol Havey and husband, Pete of Albuquerque; sons, James Barillaro of Knoxville, TN and Frank and wife, Donna of Calais, ME; grandchildren, Peter Havey and wife, Jeniffer, Sean Havey, Mary Catherine Havey and Matt Havey and wife Alija, James and Michael Barillaro, Carrieann Begnini and Courtney Barillaro; great grandchildren, Brooklynn and Karolena Havey; Gage Barillaro and Jackson and Carson Begnini and many nieces and nephews in Connecticut and New York. She also leaves two dear friends, Anne Neil and Delia Romero, at Valle Norte. Angelina was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was constantly smiling and laughing and always had a compliment for everyone she knew or met. She touched so many lives with her pleasant personality and whenever asked how she was she inevitably answered, "I'm fine" up until the end of her life. The family wishes to thank all of the fantastic employees of Valle Norte Caring Center, especially those of the "500 Unit", for the outstanding care and compassion they provided for Angelina over the past two and a half years. They would also like to thank Nurse Ann Martel of Vista Care Hospice for the care and compassion that she provided Angelina and the family other the past months. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 21, 2006, 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 109 Goodwill Avenue with burial at Sacred Heart Cemetery following the Mass.
