HODOCK -- Joseph M. Hodock, age 59, died Friday, February 24, 2006 after a valiant battle with leukemia. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Maureen; his children, Michael, Stephen, Katharine, Analiese, and John; his mother, Mary Hodock; sisters, Barbara Hodock, Teresa Hodock, Suzie Duff, husband, Lee; nephew, Colin Duff, wife, Heidi, their son, Tristin; and niece, Megan Schuller, husband, Robert. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Hodock. Joseph lived in Albuquerque for over 50 years. He graduated from St. Pius X High School, class of 1964; Creighton University in 1968; Master's Degree UNM in 1978. Major Hodock served in the U.S. Army for six years with the 2nd Armored Cavalry and 15 years with the Army Reserves. Joe is well known in the insurance community throughout the Southwest. Joe was an active member of Our Lady of Annunciation Parish and was actively involved with his children at St. Pius X. Friends may visit Monday, February 27, 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd., NE. The Rosary will be recited Monday, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Chapel. Mass of the Resurrection will be Tuesday, February 28, 2006, 10:30 a.m., Our Lady of the Annunciation, Vermont at Claremont. Interment with military honors will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested in Joe's memory to Leukemia Society of NM, 3150 Carlisle NE Suite 35 Albuquerque, 87110; the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 713 Fourth Street SW Albuquerque, 87102 or Catholic Charities of NM, 1410 Coal Ave. SW Albuquerque, 87104.
