DONALDSON -- James Richard Donaldson, 75, died in hospice inpatient Wednesday, February 1, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Marian; his four stepchildren; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Staff Sgt. Donaldson was born July 23, 1930 in Washington, DC. He joined the Army in 1950. He served in Korea, Vietnam, Guam, Germany. and Japan. He retired in September 30, 1975 and later worked at the VA Hospital as a Dental Lab Technician. He was a member of the VFW Post 5890 and the American Legion Post No. 0014. Cremation has taken place and a Graveside Service will be held at Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis.
