GONZALEZ -- Mr. Manuel Gonzalez, 83, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on February 12, 2006. Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his two daughters, Linda Ulibarri and husband, Mike, Mary Alderete and husband, Anthony; one son, Michael Anthony Gonzalez and girlfriend, Cecilia. He is also survived by his companion, Maggie Garcia; seven grandchildren, Esther Romine and husband, Joe Lee, Lisa Ulibarri, Angela Montano and husband, Mark, Antoinette M. Alderete and fiance, Manuel Artiaga, Juan Alderete, Eric Gonzalez Sr. and fiancee, Vanessa Dominguez and Marisa Gonzalez; ten great-grandchildren, Nicole, Nicolas, and Noelle Romine, Esteban Montano, Kristopher Ulibarri, Marriah Montano, Antonio Artiaga, Isaiah Rawlings, Eric Gonzalez Jr., and Erminia Esther Gonzalez; one sister, Jennie Sanchez and husband, Larry; three brothers, Johnny Gonzalez and wife, Mary, Roman Gonzalez and wife, Catherine, Fred Gonzalez and wife, Linda; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Mr. Gonzalez was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Gonzalez and his parents, Eleodoro and Herlinda Gonzalez. Mr. Gonzalez was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II. A visitation for Mr. Gonzalez will be Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. Final visitation will be Saturday morning from 11:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna NW with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. by Father Joel Garner. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery with Military Honors by the United States Army and Taps by Al Bourget. Pallbearers will be Manuel Artiaga, Eric Gonzalez Sr., Phil Miranda, Mark Montano, Joe Lee Romine, and Aaron Rael. Honorary pallbearers will be Nicolas Romine, Juan Alderete, Esteban Montano, Kristopher Ulibarri, Antonio Artiaga, Isaiah Rawlings, and Eric Gonzalez Jr. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW 243-781
