VIGIL -- Horace V. Vigil, 72, a longtime resident of Albuquerque passed away on Thursday, January 12, 2006. Mr. Vigil was born on September 3, 1933 in Canones, NM to Victor and Octaviana Vigil. He served in the United States Navy and retired in 1982 after a 27 year career with the Albuquerque Fire Department. He enjoyed fishing and hiking in his spare time. He is predeceased by his parents and his son, Jerry Vigil. Mr. Vigil is survived by his family, Mary Vigil of Albuquerque; his son, John Vigil of Denver, CO; his daughters, Elizabeth Andrade of Albuquerque, Stella Romero and her husband, Clem, of Los Lunas, Elva Muller and her husband, Danny, of Los Lunas, and Molly Koloszy and her husband, Joe, of Albuquerque; his grandchildren, Andrea, Tiffany and Monique Romero and Daniel, Steven and Brianna Muller, all of Los Lunas; and his siblings, Joe N. Vigil, Martha Warren, Sophie (James) Robinson, Lugarda (Euglio) Serrano, Theresa (Uvaldo) Armijo, and Louise (Bob) Tilden. Public visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 18 from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Sunrise Funeral Options. The Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18 at Holy Family Catholic Church 550 Atrisco SW. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 20 at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church 550 Atrisco SW.
