MONTOYA -- Antonia Rael Montoya, 89, a resident of Albuquerque for the past 45 years, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 4, 2006. She was born March 16, 1917 in Cerillos, NM. Mrs. Montoya is survived by her children, Helen Montoya and partner, Ramon Montoya of Santa Fe, Mike Montoya and wife, Emma of Bell, CA, Erlinda Lopez of Albuquerque, Angie Abeyta of Santa Fe, Richard Montoya and wife, Marcy of Tesuque, and Mary Jane Easterly and partner, Daniel Tempest of Albuquerque; and more than 115 combined grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. A Rosary for Mrs. Montoya will be recited on Friday evening, January 6, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 5:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Danny Martinez, Bobby Garcia, Carlos Bentacu, Leo Rivera, Leroy Abeyta, and J.J. Lopez. Honorary pallbearer will be Mathew Martinez.
