Gallegos December 21, 2004 On Your First Anniversary God knew you were failing, that the hills were hard to climb, so he gently closed your eye lids and whispered "Peace Be Thine." In tears we watched you leaving and watched you being carried away. Our hearts were near to breaking. You fought so hard to stay. It broke our hearts to see you go but you did not go alone for part of us went with you as you left to rest in your new eternal home. This past year has been the most difficult time for all of us. Once again, our lives have been changed forever. This Christmas will be so hard for us to try and get through it. You wanted to come home for Christmas so much. We live each day wondering what went wrong but once more we are left with unanswered questions. I hope someday we will understand the reasons why. You are loved and missed so much.
