CALDERON -- Alfonso M. Mr. Alfonso M. Calderon, 88, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on December 12, 2005. Mr. Calderon is survived by his two grandchildren, Debbie Romero and husband, Jose Luis, Mark Tapia and Anna; four great- grandchildren, Lisa, Tina, Monique and Alejandra; nine great-great- grandchildren, Mario, Debra, James, Nikki, Hannibal, Adrein, Mitchell Jr., Melonie and Rudy Jr. and many great-great-great- grandchildren. Mr. Calderon was preceded in death by his wife, Lupe Calderon, a daughter, Margie Tapia and a son, Andres Calderon. Mr. Calderon was a member of the Catholic Church. A visitation for Mr. Calderon will be Wednesday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final visitation will be Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Ascension with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Ed Savilla. Interment will follow at the Pajarito Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Sauceda, Jose Luis Romero, Mario Mauricio, Joey Gonzales, Leroy Saavedra and Irineo Villegas.
