PAGE -- Hollis J. Page, 87, an Albuquerque resident since 1994, died Tuesday, December 6, 2005. Mrs. Page was born December 11, 1917 in Melcher, IA. Growing up, Hollis was fond of and played basketball. She attended school in Kansas City, MO to become an aircraft communicator. Thereafter she worked at an air base in South Dakota. There she met the man of her dreams, the very handsome Leslie Page. They were married during 1945 at the end of the Second World War. Their first son, Paul, was born in 1946. They were blessed with the birth of a second son, Greg, in 1949. After being a stay at home mother and after her husband retired, she and Leslie enjoyed much travel, seeing such sights as Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, Puerto Rico and other places. Unfortunately, her husband Leslie passed away in 2000, and her son, Greg, passed away in the early 1980s. Hollis has been living at The Montebello Retirement Center for over 11 years. Hollis was often found cruising the halls with her son and daughter-in-law's dog, Shafer. Hollis is survived by her son, L. Paul Page and wife, Roseann of Albuquerque. Now she is with the Lord. Per Hollis' wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held. French Mortuary 10500 Lomas Blvd NE 275-3500
