TAPIA -- Vincent James Tapia passed away December 6, 2005 at the age of 17. Vincent is survived by his mother, Tanya Lovato; sister, Jessica Maestas; father, Albert Tapia; grandmother, Carmen Lovato; grandparents, Bert Lovato and Betty Minero; grandparents, Justo and Evangeline Tapia; great aunts, Dolores Miranda and Guadalupe Jaramillo; uncles, Anthony Lovato, Todd Lovato and wife, Monica; cousin, Hailey Ann Lovato; uncle, Tom Tapia; aunts, Fran Tapia, Loretta Tapia, Carolyn Quintana; cousins, Tommy Tapia, Tarlene Tapia, and Annette Quintana; and girlfriend, Camille Perales. Vincent was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ramon and Josephine Miranda and cousin, Phyllis Jaramillo. A Rosary for Vincent will be recited on Friday evening, December 9, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2005 also at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande where the Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh Marez, Mark Gallegos, Tommy Tapia, Kelly Lucero, Jeremy Chavez and Richard Candelaria.
