JONES -- Craig S. Jones, born in Ola, AR on February 27, 1924, passed away on November 10, 2005 with his family by his side. He was the son of Emma and Robert L. Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Robert L. Jones; and his son, David L. Jones who passed away recently. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Regina V. Jones; daughter, Karen M. Jones; and son, Jeffrey N. Jones of Albuquerque; and sister, Mary G. Timmins of Everett, WA. He retired from the U.S. Air Force with 30 years of service and 19 years with the U.S. Postal Service. His most memorable assignments were serving in the Presidential Squadron three terms at Bolling Field, Washington, DC. Craig loved to fish on the San Juan River and hunt in the southern part of New Mexico. Reading history and Western books was his favorite pastime. He was a member of Shrine of St. Bernadette Church where he was an usher for many years. He also was a member of the Disabled American Veterns. A Memorial Service will be held at Aspen Funeral Home on November 15, 2005 (Tuesday) at 10:00 a.m. with Deacon Al McLane officiating.
