GIRON, -- Eva L. Giron, ascended to her Lord and Savior after a brief illness October 28, 2005. She is preceded in death by a grandson, Carlos Godinez and son-in-law, Ernest Vallejos. She had a great respect and fondness for all of God's creatures. She is survived by former husband, Guillermo Godinez; four children, Judy Herrera and husband Ernest, Sarah Lopez, Annie Rodriguez and husband, Adam, and Milton Godinez and wife, Jan, of Rio Rancho; one sister, Sara Ramos of Corrales NM; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Monday, October 31, 2005 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. A Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2005, at The Legacy Church, 7201 Central NW, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Kelvin McCloud presiding. Pallbearers will be Adam Rodriguez, Ernie Herrera, David Godinez, Franco Vallejos, Jon Dela Cruz, and Teddy Armijo. Interment will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
