HRENAK -- Joseph R. Hrenak, (Chief Master Sergeant, U.S. Air Force (Ret.) died unexpectedly at home, at the age of 69 on October 15, 2005. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Kathleen "Kathie"; daughter, Joanna; mother,Dorothy of Milwaukee, WI; brothers, Al Krueger (Sandy) of Milwaukee, WI, Vincent (Beth) of McKinney, TX, James (Lisa) of Las Vegas, NV; and sisters, Beverly Wilinski of Milwaukee, WI, Janice Vernon (Ron) of Las Cruces, NM; and numerous nieces and nephews. Joe's 38 years of military service included 33 years of proud service with the New Mexico Air National Guard. He retired as the Aircraft Maintenance Superintendent and served in Vietnam as well as numerous deployments with the NMANG. He received many medals and honors including the AF Commendation Medal and Senior NCO of the Year, he also attended the Senior NCO Academy and was a member of their NCO Graduate Association. After retirement he continued to enjoy life including RVing, car racing and being bossed around by his cat, Moochie. He was a treasured friend to so many. He will be greatly missed.
