SALAZAR -- Ernest E. Salazar went home to be with the Lord on August 28, 2005 at the age of 75. He was born on March 26, 1930 in Los Ojos, NM. Mr. Salazar was a member of the Knights of Columbus and The Men's Club in Utah. He was a CCD Principal in Ogden, UT. Ernest is survived by his wife of 39 years, Perfecta Salazar; son, Timothy Salazar; daughters, Roseanne Salazar and husband, Ramon Francia and Dorothy Huff and husband, Benjamin; brothers, Placido Salazar and wife, Bernarda and Luis Salazar; sisters, Ramona Trujillo and husband, Clorovi, Josefa Gallegos and husband, Victor and Jenny Nieto and husband, Jose; and his grandchildren, Joseph Garcia, Jesse Garcia, Chris Huff, Dannielle Huff and Calyssa Huff. Ernest will be deeply missed by all. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joseph Garcia, Jesse Garcia, Chris Huff, Dannielle Huff, David Samora, Orlando Perales, and J. Lawrence Gallegos. Honorary pallbearer will be Calyssa Huff.
