HARRIS -- Roger Eugene Harris, 46, died on Wednesday, August 17, 2005. He was a resident of Albuquerque for the past eight years. He was born on December 6, 1958 in Cleburne, TX. Roger was a loving husband to Laurie Harris for 23 years. He is survived by his children, Kate Johnson and husband, Jeremy and by his son, Ethan Harris; his parents, Gene and Lois Harris; 17 brothers and sisters; and one grandson, Jordan Johnson. Roger loved life and his family; he enjoyed camping, fishing, four wheeling and music. He will be greatly missed. Service will take place on Saturday, August 20, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary-Westside Chapel with Rev. Tom Moore, officiating. Burial will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Rd SE, Rio Rancho. Pallbearers will be Mel Crounse, Ethan Harris, Jeremy Johnson, Harold Laird, Mark Love, Jeff Moore, Wally Pippen, and Baird Reynolds. Friends and family may visit French Mortuary on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Because Roger loved children, the family recommends in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities, 1011 Yale NE, Albuquerque, NM 87106, attn Sue Glen.
