GARCIA -- J. Gilbert Garcia, 73, a resident of Colorado and New Mexico, passed away on August 15, 2005. Mr. Garcia, the son of the late J.B. and Sophia Garcia, was preceded in death by his son, J. Christopher Garcia; his sister, Bertha Abeyta; and brother, Bill Garcia. He is survived by his sons: J.B. Garcia II, J. Adolph, J. Vincent, and J. Martin Garcia and wife, Rene; five granddaughters; two grandsons; his former wife and mother of his children, Dolores Garcia; and other family members and friends who loved him and will miss him. Gilbert proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1950 - 1954. The family of Mr. Garcia will be reflecting on his life with a Rosary on Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. in the Reflection of Life Chapel (Washington and Cutler NE).
