CHAVEZ -- Orlando A. Chavez passed away peacefully, Thursday, August 18, 2005 in Albuquerque at the age of 83. He is survived by his wife, Rose Chavez; sons, Tony Chavez and wife, Dora, Julian Chavez and wife, Jane, Robert Chavez, and Benjie Chavez and Dianna; daughters, Anita Carter and husband, James, and Margie Florez and husband, Ruben; brother, Albert "Dad" Chavez; sister, Sarah; grandchildren, Michelle, Jackie, Lisa, Mark, James Jr., John, Lynda Marie, Michael Ruben, Jon, and Jennifer; and great-grandchildren, David, Joel, Dominic, Natalie, Anjoli, and Julianna. A Rosary for Mr. Chavez will be recited on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2005 at St. Therese Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be James Carter, James Carter Jr., Ruben Florez, Jon Florez, Raul Sanchez, Phillip Gutierrez, and Albert Chavez Jr. Arrangements by: Salazar & Sons Mortuary 400 Third St. SW 247-4124
