RYAN -- JOHN JOSEPH RYAN, age 89, of Santa Fe, NM. Passed away on Monday, August 15, 2005. He was preceded in death by his wife of 48 years, M. Patricia (Pat) Walsh-Ryan; his father, William Michael Ryan; his mother, Margaret Monteque-Ryan; his brother, William (Bill) Michael Ryan II; his sisters, Margaret (Margie) and Florence. John was born in Hoboken, NJ, August 8, 1916, to William Michael Ryan and Margaret Monteque-Ryan. He grew up in Hoboken, NJ, around Frank Sinatra. After World War II, John moved to Santa Fe, NM and married the love of his life. He started working as a cab driver, then for Coca Cola. He worked as Credit Manager for PNM for 24 years until he retired. John is survived by his daughter, Sheila J. Ryan of Farmington, NM; grandchildren, Carena M. Schumacher and her fiance, Ricky E. Miller of Farmington, NM, and David S. Kerr of Albuquerque, NM; great-grandchildren, Alex R. Schumacher, Nathan M. Schumacher, Jordan Miller, and Logan S. Kerr; special nephews, William Michael Ryan III and his wife, Mary Ryan of Santa Fe and Daniel P. Ryan of Las Vegas, NM. He is also survived by a special niece, Darlene (Dee-Dee) Ryan-Lopez and her husband, Richard A. Lopez; great-nephews, William Michael Ryan IV, Robert J. Ryan, and Ronnie A. Lopez; great-niece, Francine P. Ryan-Holiday and her husband, David; and numerous nephews, nieces, and other special relatives not mentioned. Graveside Services will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM.
