HERRERA -- Louis Robert Herrera, age 53, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2005. A lifelong resident of Albuquerque, he worked as a landscaper and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Louis was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Gregorita Herrera and his brother, Charles Herrera. Louis is survived by his sisters, Ruth Pacheco and husband, Sam of Colorado Springs, CO, Virginia Chavez and husband, Joe of Los Angeles, CA, Betty Trujillo and husband, Paul of Albuquerque, Ramona Lopez of Albuquerque, Darlene Evans and husband, Dan of Albuquerque, Joanne Herrera of Albuquerque, and Mary Ellen Herrera of Virginia; brothers, Manuel Herrera and wife, Linda of Albuquerque, Tony Herrera and wife, Marie of Albuquerque; special friend, Frank Gallegos of Las Vegas, NV; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. Services will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW., with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2005. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2005, with burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bill and John Pacheco, John Trujillo, Jack Isaac, Rick Lopez and Dan Evans Jr. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW. ABQ. 505-343-8008
