FLINT -- A. F. Frankie Flint Sr., age 96, passed away on Saturday April 9, 2005 in Tucumcari, NM. Frankie Flint was born May 17, 1908 at Bard in the Territory of New Mexico. He lived his entire life in the Bard, NM community, moving to Tucumcari 5 years ago. He was a rancher and Cattleman. He belonged to the American Angus Assc., the New Mexico and Texas Angus Assc., the ASCS and SCS committee, Crops and Stabalazation Board, the NM Cattle Growers Association, The San Jon, NM School Board for 25 years. He had served at the New Mexico Constitution Convention. He had been chairman of the NM State Livestock Board. He was a member of the United Methodist Church at San Jon, NM. Surviving Frankie Flint are his sons: Quinnie Flint and wife, Shirley of Round Rock TX, A. Franklin Flint Jr. and wife, Betty, and Martenia Flint and wife, Felecia, all of San Jon, NM; his daughter, Ora Lee Robbins and husband, Leslie of Tucumcari, NM; One brother, Earl Flint of San Jon, NM; sisters, Bertie Ragland of Tucumcari NM, Cora White of Bard, NM, Maurine Boatman and husband, Fred, and Earline Paris, all of Logan, NM. He was preceded in death by his wife, Addie Lee Flint; by his parents; and by three sisters, one grandson, and one great-grandson. Funeral Sevices will be Friday, April 15, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. in the Center Street United Methodist Church in Tucumcari, NM. Burial will follow in the family plot of the San Jon, NM Cemetery.
