POHL -- Dennis Pohl, born in Chilili on March 1, 1916, passed away on March 25, 2005. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Eumelia (Meena); his parents, Damacio and Sara Pohl. Also deceased are sisters, Polinaria Gutierrez, Isabel Martinez, Jesusita Apodaca, and Irene Martinez; brothers, Jacobo Bachicha, Moises, Augustin, and Amadeo Pohl. Dennis is survived by his daughter, Charlotte Flynn; sons, Daniel and Michael Pohl; his sisters, Alvira Vigil and Carmen Gallegos; grandchildren, Sherry Neilsen, Loretta Patrick, Carolyn and Mary Flynn, Tanya Pohl, and Roxanne Chavez. Also surviving are eight great-grandchildren. Dennis Pohl was self-employed in the home construction and renovation business most of his adult life. He worked many years at Laguna Pueblo. Through out the years Dennis and wife Eumelia enjoyed growing excellent chili and vegetable gardens. The family will always have fond memories of these times. Our father, grandfather and uncle will be greatly missed. Visitations will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemtery. Pallbearers will be Gilbert Pohl, Isabio Pohl, Andy Martinez, Eddie Martinez, David Gutierrez and Kenneth Herrera. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Sanchez, Jimmy Apodaca, Gabriel Herrera, Amadeo Pohl Jr., Cecelia Vigil, David Gallegos, and Buddy Bachicha.
