LUCERO -- Alice Lucero, 69, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on March 8, 2005, at her home. Alice was born January 22, 1936, in Willard, NM to Max and Frances Tenorio. She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Tenorio; son, Gerry; and her husband, Pat Lucero. She is survived by her sons, Simon and Steve Lucero, of Albuquerque, NM; and daughter, Karen Gallegos, husband Norman, of Rio Rancho, NM; her many brothers and sisters, Aneda Mora, husband Ben, of Los Lunas, Joe Tenorio, of Albuquerque, NM, Rita Padilla, Los Lunas, NM, Stella Gutierrez, husband Charles, of San Diego, CA, Dimas Tenorio, Albuquerque, NM, Frank Tenorio, San Antonio, TX, Margaret Abeyta, husband Gilfred of Veguita, NM, Janice Quintana, and her special "darling" Nathan Garcia. She was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, was active in the Senior Prayer Group, she enjoyed working at the polls during the elections. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning. A Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m., with Mass following at 11:00 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix NE. Interment of Cremated remains at Mount Calvary Cemetery, With Deacon Pilar Garcia officiating.
