GONZALES -- Manuel Gonzales, 84, a resident of Los Lunas and formerly of Albuquerque, was called home by our Heavenly Father, Saturday March 12, 2005. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertha Gonzales and son, Paul Gonzales. Manuel is survived by four sons, George Gonzales and wife, Carmen, Elieto Gonzales and wife, Sharon, Oliver Gonzales and wife, Joan, Manuel Gonzales, Jr. and wife, Laura; two daughters, Dora Montoya and husband Fred, Carmen Gonzales and fiance, Marvin; 18 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers; five sisters; nieces, nephews, and other family members. Visitations will be Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. till the time of the Rosary in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final viewing will be Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. in the Chapel of the Alameda Mortuary. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Michael Gonzales Jr., Fred Montoya Jr., Manuel Gonzales Jr., Johnny Montoya, George Gonzales Jr., Michael Montano Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Paul Gonzales, Anton Valdez.
