YOUNG -- James A. Young, Major General USAF, Ret., age 78, died January 14, 2005 at his home in Albuquerque. He is survived by his loving wife, Lani Young; daughter, Phyliss Ann Davisson and husband, Richard of Albuquerque, NM; sons, James M. Young and wife, Trish, of Washington, D.C. and Richard C. Young and wife, Kim, of Alabama; eight grandchildren; and a sister, Norma Barry of Boston, MA. He was preceded in death by son, Stephen Young in 1979. He retired as a Major General in the United States Air Force after serving his country for 35 years. Services will be held Thursday, January 20, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 10000 Spain Road NE, with Pastor Bruce Wilder officiating. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Kirtland Air Force Base Honor Guard. Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2005 at the Lomas Chapel of French Mortuary from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society of America, 1700 North 7th, Phoenix, AZ 85007 or the American Heart Association, NM Affiliate, P.O.
