JOHNSON -- Martin T. Johnson, 52, a resident of Rio Rancho, died Tuesday, December 28, 2004. He is survived by his son, Jason Johnson; daughter, April Johnson; mother of his children, Chon Ye Johnson, all of Killeen, TX; mother, Midge Essler and husband, Robert of Arlington, TX; father, J. C. Johnson of Rio Rancho; sister, Cheryl Sullens and husband, Hal of Lexington, KY; brother, Joe Johnson and wife, Lora of Phoenix, AZ; niece, Dawn Monk and husband, John of Waskom, TX; nephews, Wes Sullens of Lexington, KY and Myles Johnson of Phoenix, AZ; step-nephew, Ryan Jenkins of Phoenix, AZ; and he was a great-uncle to Chance Joseph Monk of Waskom, TX. Mr. Johnson was born October 4, 1952 in Moultrie, GA. He served in the U.S. Army for 21 years and after retiring, worked as a carpenter and also in security. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2005, at 12:00 noon, at French Mortuary, Westside Chapel. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
