GELWICKS -- Helen Elizabeth Gelwicks, 90, passed away Friday, December 10, 2004. Helen was born Wednesday, October 26, 1914 in Duncannon, PA to Dewey and Bertha Puff. Helen married Hary A. "Pete" Gelwicks on June 19, 1933. Helen & Pete moved to Albuquerque in 1948. She worked at Sandia Corporation for 21 years, retiring in 1973. Helen is survived by her husband of 71 years; her daughter, Beverly Laws and her husband, Tom of Roswell, NM. She had three grandchildren, Tom Laws and his wife, Debra of Silver City, NM; Tambra Straley of Bagley, MN and Suzie Berry and her husband Craig of Austin, TX. Helen had seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 18, 2004, 2:00 pm, at French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE.
