GUERIN -- Sophie Wheeler, 90, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother passed on December 7, 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1996 and her beloved sisters, Romanita Salazar and Benigna Lopez. Sophie is survived by her daughter and caregiver, Florence Coriz; sons, Robert and wife Wendy and Charles Ruiz. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Pallbearers: Eric Coriz, David Coriz, Jr., Honorary pallbearers: Sean Des Autel and Tony Trujillo. Sophie's family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers, Charlotte Montano and Monique Saavedra. There will be a viewing on Sunday, December 12, 2004 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Santa Fe Funeral Options Chapel, 417 E. Rodeo Road., followed by a rosary to be recited at 8:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 417 Agua Fria. Mass of Christian Burial is on Monday, December 13, 2004, at 10:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, followed by interment at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
