LOPEZ -- Manuel G. Lopez went home to be with the Lord on December 3, 2004 at the age of 72. He was born on February 6, 1932 in Manzano, New Mexico. He is survived by his lifelong friend Gus Durand; son Ricky Sanchez and wife Sally; daughters, Patsy Lopez, Sandra Littrell and partner Lisa Fonseca; brothers, Leo Lopez and wife Soleme, Higinio Lopez and Herman Lopez; sisters, Melba Cordova, Mary Lopez and Ordillia Sedillo and husband Juan; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephes. Manuel will be deeply missed by his loving family. Visitations will be held on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary with a Rosary to be recited at 5:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served following the Rosary in the Celebration of Life Room at Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Sanchez Jr. , Ricky Sanchez, Jr., Jason Sanchez, Sergio Escobido, Edwin Cordova and Floyd Cordova. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Sanchez and Dominic Cordova.
