DABBS -- Thurman Chafee Dabbs entered into the presence of his Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 25, 2004. He was born in Burlington, NC on November 1, 1928. His adult life was lived in service to his Lord, his country and others. As a medical doctor, he served in the United States Air Force stateside in Puerto Rico and Vietnam. As a medical missionary, he served the poor here and abroad. He is survived by a brother, Lowell; two sons, Steve and Carlo; three daughters, Jewel, Lucy, and Sharon; ten grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He left a legacy of prayer and passionate service to the Lord. Phil. 1: 20 "So that now, as always, Christ will be exalted in my body whether by life or by death!" A Memorial service will be held at Chapel of Sunrise, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE in Albuquerque at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 6.
