GURULE -- Barbarita Gurule was born May 27, 1918 in Bosque, NM. She went to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 23, 2004 after a short illness. Barbarita was 86 years old. She was preceded in death by all six of her brothers and sisters and by her son, Raymond. Barbarita is survived by her dedicated husband of 57 years, Damacio; her loving son, Leroy and wife, Anna; daughter, Mary Ann Chavez and husband, Lenave; many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Barbarita was a friend to all, having never met a stranger. A wonderful woman of God, who never hesitated to tell others how good God was. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but we know she is resting in the Arms of her Lord. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the Kaseman Hospice inpatient unit. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Valencia Valley Church of the Nazarene, 33 El Cerro Loop, in Los Lunas, on Saturday, November 27, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place at on Monday, November 29, 2004 at Terrace Grove Cemetery in Belen.
