ORTIZ -- Flora Q. Ortiz. On this Thanksgiving, we are eternally thankful for the love, compassion and joy that Flora Q. Ortiz brought to her family and the world, always giving freely to others. Flora passed away very peacefully on Tuesday, November 23, 2004 in Albuquerque, where she had been living with granddaughter, Deborah James Ortiz. Flora was preceded in death by her husband, J. Willie Ortiz; and her daughter, Connie Ortiz. She is survived by her son, Bobby Ortiz and his wife, Eva; brothers, Eddie Quintana and Arturo Quintana; grandchildren, Cynthia Coward, Roberta Murray, Denise Lujan, Sandra Ortiz, Geraldine Lugo, Ellie Ortiz; along with great-grandchildren and other loving members of her family, including Barbara Pacheco, Rosina Clayton, Reyes Sena, Donellia Roybal, and Reynaldo Ortiz; and Azucena Serrano, her loving friend. A Rosary will be recited at 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 26, 2004 at the Santuario de Guadalupe, 100 Guadalupe, in Santa Fe. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2004 at the Santuario de Guadalupe. Arrangements are under the direction of Berardinelli Family Funeral Service, 1399 Luisa, Santa Fe, 984-8600.
