SHORTMAN -- Hazel N. "Bubbles" Shortman, 75, a resident of Albuquerque, died on Friday, November 19, 2004. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Lawrence Shortman; children, Ida Raye White, Larry Shortman, Terry Shortman and wife Lauren, Marlene Lawless and husband Freddie, W. Gerald Shortman "Dutch" and wife Deliah, Joseph Shortman, and Ronald Gene; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many other family, including one uncle in Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by Clara Shawnee. Hazel was a decedent of the Cheyenne Chief White Antelope and her great grandfather Kish Hawkins, who was also a Cheyenne Chief. She was a member of the Albuquerque Indian Baptist Mission. Services will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Eastern Hills Baptist Church, 3100 Morris NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel on Monday, November 22, 2004 from 4-7 p.m. French Mortuary 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE 823-9400
