GUINN -- Dwight Guinn, 79, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2004. He was the beloved son of John and Crystal Guinn, and beloved son-in-law of John and Nell Curry. He is survived by his wife, Nelle E. Guinn; brother, Oliver F. Guinn; daughter, Paula G. Cate and her husband, Bill; son, Rod Guinn and wife, Dana; and grandchildren, Seth and Jessica Cate. Mr. Guinn was born in Meeker, Oklahoma and served his country in the Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. An Albuquerque resident for 45 years, he was a long time member of Monte Vista Christian Church, and had been active in Gideons International and the Optimist Club. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. A service will be held Friday, 4:00 p.m., October 29, 2004 at Monte Vista Christian Church, 3501 Campus Blvd. NE. Private interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to either Monte Vista Christian Church or Lovelace Sandia Hospice, 5403 Gibson Blvd. SE, Siesta Hills, Bldg. 1, 87108.
