GARCIA -- Maryann Garcia, age 98, beloved mother and grandmother, was called home by our Heavenly Father, Wednesday, October 27, 2004. Maryann was born in Golden, NM to the late Miguel and Donacina Martinez; and was a resident of Pena Blanca, NM. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Pena Blanca. Maryann was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Garcia; two brothers, Manuel and George Martinez; and 13 children. She is survived by nine children, Clarance Garcia and wife Lucy, Gilbert Garcia and wife Gloria, Alfred Garcia, Oliver Garcia, David Garcia, Cora Martinez and husband Herman, Nora Armijo and husband Ernest, Lena Gonzales and husband Robert, Donna Herrera and husband Orlando; 36 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members and friends. Maryann will be greatly missed by her loving family. Visitations will be Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Pena Blanca; where a Rosary will be recited this evening at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at the Pena Blanca Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Orlando Herrera, Robert Gonzales, Donald Garcia, Herman Martinez, Gilbert Garcia, Jr., and Tommy Martinez.
