CLARK -- Emily Clark, 84, crossed over peacefully at her home of 30 years, in Paradise Hills, with her daughter, Cynthia and her husband of 56 1 /2 years, Oren, at her bedside. She had been painfully ill for seven months, in and out of the hospital, and many days in nursing homes. Emily is survived by her husband, Oren K. Clark Sr.; daughter, Cynthia Clark; son-in-law, Michael Harvey; and granddaughter, Briana, all of Phoenix, AZ; one sister, Marion Howard of Marcellus, NY; sister-in-law, Marilyn Clark of Vienna, VA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by one son, Oren Jr., and eldest granddaughter, Erica Clark Harvey. Private cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, a donation would be appreciated, to either Presbyterian Hospice or Paradise Hills Fire Department. A living memorial service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park Chapel, 924 Menaul NE, on Saturday, October 30, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Following services, a reception will be held at the home of Susie Singer in Paradise Hills, at the corner of Plunkett and Unitas LN, where everyone is welcome.
