YEAGER -- Lila Lee Yeager passed away Thursday morning, October 21, 2004 in Montrose, CO. She was born in Worland, WY on January 21, 1928 to Sumner and Minnie Haynes. She had been a resident of Albuquerque, NM for the past 6 years up until October 1, 2004 when she moved to Montrose. She is survived by her three children: Bryan Yeager and wife, Mary in Montrose, CO, daughter, Pam and husband, Rich Lee in Lake Jackson, TX, and daughter, Beckie and husband, Lee Wilson in Albuquerque, NM. She has nine grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She also has three sisters: Faye Mathers of Grants, NM, Connie Sallee of Meadville, MO, and Pat Daniels of Dallas, TX. She was married to Billy Joe Yeager on May 21, 1947; he preceded her in death on May 17, 1994. She was employed at Melloy Nissan for 6 years until her retirement on September 24, 2004. She was an awesome wife, Mother, Sister, and friend. She was an excellent example of a Godly woman. She loved Jesus with all of her heart and served Him faithfully to the end. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. There will be a Memorial Service for her on Thursday, October 28, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at The Potter's House Christian Center, 907 4th St., SW, Albuquerque, NM. There will be a graveside service in Lubbock, TX. She will be buried alongside of her husband of 48 years. Services Pending.
