CURRY -- Albert Leonard Curry, Jr. passed on to be with Our Lord on October 2, 2004. Mr. Curry was born on August 16, 1920 in Waco, TX and lived there with his mother, Josephine and brother, James T. Curry until he enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1941. He married Elsa Rae Farrow Curry from Rusk, TX in 1942 and then went to North Africa to serve his country in WWII. Mr. Curry was an automobile dealer in San Antonio, TX, Albuquerque and Santa Fe NM, and Austin, TX, where he retired in 1985. Mr. Curry was widowed in January 1971. He is survived by his son, Donald L. Curry from San Antonio; his daughter, Deborah Curry Lusk from Georgetown; his granddaughters, Sarah, Jessica, Kelly, Rachel, and Jamie; and great-granddaughters, Kaymin and Josephine. His sister-in-law, Virginia Curry, and her children, Susan, Jeff, Phillip, Phyllis, Caroline, and Pat, are all from Waco. Mr. Curry's cousin, Charles Sikes, and his long time friend and companion, Muriel Pilgrim are both from Austin. His dear friend Edda Hallford is from Sugarland. A graveside service will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Waco, TX, at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, Oct. 6. Peace be with you.
