ROMERO -- Cristoval C. Romero, 71, passed away at home Wednesday, September 22, 2004, surrounded by his family. Born in Las Nutrias, NM, he lived in Albuquerque and worked many years as a Barber. Cristoval was an officer and an active lifetime member of the D.A.V He was preceded in death by his parents, Filiberto and Mariana Romero, and one brother. Cristoval is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Cora Romero; children, Carrie and Chris Romero Jr.; granddaughters, Marissa and Crisann; great-grandson, Efrain Munoz III; two sisters; one brother; other family and friends who loved and will miss him. All services will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 550 Atrisco DR. SW., on Friday, September 24, 2004. The Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m., followed by a celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m., with Fr. Bill Sanchez, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clyde Montano, Jayson Lucero, Adric Montano, Joe Baldonado, Jason Pohl, Patrick Gabaldon, and Isidro Casarez. Honorary pallbearers will be Bennie Aragon, David Griego, Donald Griego, Joseph Romero, Adrian Montano, Austin Lucero, Efrain Munoz Jr., and Efrain Munoz III.
