MARTINEZ -- Anthony Jim Martinez, Sr., passed away on September 22, 2004. He was born on December 25, 1941 in Albuquerque, NM. He is preceded in death by his sons, Tommy J. O'Rourke and Richard K. O'Rourke. He is survived by his wife, Mary Martinez; sons, Anthony J. Martinez, Jr. and wife, Carol and Jimmy J. Martinez; daughters, Emmy Kitsuse and husband, Edward and Debby L. Ewertz and husband, Dave; brothers, Dennis Martinez and wife, Dolly, Bill Martinez and Daniel Martinez and wife, Patty; and three grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. also at Holy Ghost Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jimmy J. Martinez, Manuel Torres, Joshua Sanchez, Manuel Morales, Anthony Martinez, and Damian Duran. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Martinez, Dennis Martinez, Norbert Ortega, Nick Ortega, Ernie Lucero, Glen Lucero, Chris Lucero, Clifford Lucero, Boni Lucero, and Ronnie Martinez.
