MITCHELL -- Lillian Ruella Mitchell, age 90, of Hot Springs, AR, formerly of Arkadelphia, died Wednesday, September 8, 2004. She was born February 8, 1914 in Little Rock to Kate Cameron Martin. She was Married to Hollis Mitchell on November 3, 1934. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She was a Registered Nurse; and was retired from Sandia Air Force Base in Albuquerque, NM. She was a member of Baring Cross Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Bill Schenke of Hot Springs; a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Linda Mitchell of Fayetteville; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 12 noon Saturday at the Pinecrest Memorial Park in Little Rock with Rev. James Calhoun and Rev. Charles Polston officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs, AR. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Those wishing to memorialize Mrs. Mitchell may make contributions to Baring Cross Missionary Baptist Church of Arkadelphia or the Alzheimers Association.
